Being Gone – Spell of Bravery

It’s only been a few years or so…

How many of these posts am I going to do apologizing that I haven’t blogged in a while? I mean honestly, does it really take me that long to just come on here and write something interesting about witchcraft? Oh right, apparently it does, years in fact.

Too much work to do

Too much work to do

My life has taken quite a turn in the last year. I have over-loaded myself with work and have lost myself along the way. My entire personality has changed… stress and lack of sleep can REALLY mess with you. I pretty much demanded a vacation from all of my jobs..yes that’s jobs, plural. That is how crazy I am, I believe I have 4. I’m a graphic designer/photographer so it’s difficult to nail down what I consider a “job” when I just freelance a lot. The money is good, but is it really worth it? Now that I’m on vacation, I’m realizing…not really. I enjoy my work, don’t get me wrong…but I’m so inside my head, I need that time to work through my issues. If I do not have this time, I’m not so much fun to be around. My co-workers found that out. Woops. So what does this have to do with the craft? I realized that this life I have right now, I asked for… I used magick for years to get me to the spot I’m in right now. I’m so thankful and truly am happy to be where I am, but as Rumpelstiltskin always says in Once Upon a Time “Magick always comes with a price.” The cost was not having the time to spend learning more and using the craft. I’ve done a few things here and there with surprising success. Hopefully I’ll dedicate more blogs on these items. I’ve grown a lot over the years and rely heavily on my instincts, it has served me well and is always my advice when people come to me for help.

I really need to refocus my life, and part of that will be dedicating more time to this blog. I like writing and enjoy the interaction with all of you. This blog used to get fairly good traction, so hopefully I can get back to it. My Latin is still not grammatically correct, but I plan on doing more with it soon. Which brings me to an interesting memory. When I was younger, it had to be like 13 or so, I did a spell to help one of my friends be brave enough to tell his father something. I can’t remember at all what he wanted to tell him, but I wanted to help. We made a large bonfire and I did something interesting. Granted I had NO idea, just went on instinct. This has no research to back it up, but it worked nearly instantly. I can’t remember the words, but I’m going to wing it and hope that it will work the same with a bit of Latin for an extra kick.

——

Spell of Bravery

Ingredients:

Recently walked on grass

Large Fire

A bit of the person’s hair

The Spell:

Take a bit of grass that the person has just walked on and then grab a piece of their hair. Hold the two items together in your hand and stare into the fire, use the warmth to charge them. Make sure you and the person are close to the flames. Throw the items in the fire and say this spell.

Flames of strength make him/her see

And grant the gift of bravery

Fortem
(four-tem)

The flame should instantly send the energy into the person.

——

The person I cast the spell on had no idea what I was doing, and that may be the key to this spell. I was making a joke like “I need a piece of your hair” and I remember just grabbing it. He didn’t hear me say the words into the fire either. It was a big fire and we were on opposite sides. After the spell I asked him if he was going to tell his father, whatever he was afraid to before, and he pretty much changed his mind and was going to. I was shocked how quickly the spell worked to be honest. It’s a little cheesy, but hey, whatever works right? Try it out and let me know!

It’s time for me to end this blog, I’ll be back… I don’t know when, but I will. As always…

sweet serenity,

Derek….

Hey Witches

So I was thinking, well…that’s all I seem to do. I consistently cast spells on myself to help me get what I want/need but…they never seem to work. Every spell I write for someone else, or cast for someone always works. Has this happened to anyone else? It just confuses me. If I truly NEED something it seems to work, my protection spells seem to be extremely strong (thank goodness) – I also remember when I was young, I was riding my bike way too far away from home and I was so tired I called for help, for a “kind stranger” to give me a lift. Not even a few minutes later my friend had asked his older friend with a truck to come pick me up. This was before everyone had a cell phone so it shocked me that they knew exactly where I was. That was the turning point for me when I knew I had a gift.

So still, why do other spells seem to kind of go…poof? It scares me to be so open and honest on the internet, but I’ve been casting love spells on myself consistently for quite a while. I just cast one that was from a real traditional witch’s coven too. It has only been a week but I am not sure anything happened. I’m always afraid that I’m just cursed to be alone. Every time I meet someone whom I think could be a possibility, something INSTANTLY goes wrong. The very next day (I kid you not, every single time) I find out that the person was lying to me the entire time. I have dreams nearly on a nightly basis of being in a relationship, so I wake up depressed, just like I did today. So mind my terrible, dark, sad poetry every once in a while haha.

My very first love spell worked almost instantly and I’m just afraid that, I only had one shot and I messed it up. I am afraid that I pissed the spirits off when I was so greedy and ungrateful for what was given to me. I was 17, give me a little slack? Please? Ever since that relationship (to give you a timeline, I am now 30) I have had this issue… For 12 years I have been single, I have never dated anyone longer than about 5 days…is that really dating? When someone is interested in me my mind tends to block any feelings, and when I am interested in someone, they end up hurting me….every damn time. So I keep casting love spells. I just wonder if i am waiting for someone specific…or if I was waiting for someone who doesn’t exist anymore… Helping others magickally makes me feel very good so I will keep doing as such. I will always share my gift to you…but, I wish I could share it with myself from time to time.

So if anyone out there has ever had this problem, please tell me. Any guidance is appreciated. I just feel stuck. I’ve been able to help someone get pregnant, spice of their love life, bring success to their business, protect people from evil dark spirits, enact powerful curses to make someone wise up and change the horrendous, destructive path they were leading…but I can’t cast a simple love spell on me?! I’m not looking for a cosmic reward…Though the lottery numbers would be nice, spirits, you hear me? Maybe? COME ON…. I probably will add another love spell on my page with traditional aspects and a little Latin. It seems to be the most requested type of spell there is from my page. The language is infuriatingly difficult to translate, but I will try. Let me know what you guys think, I am always open for discussion.

Since this is a blog on witchcraft, I will leave you with a little magick…

Dream Lover

Ingredients:

Rose oil

Lavender

Sandalwood

Rosemary

A small thin bag/sachet

The Spell:

If you want to dream of your lover, follow this simple spell. Create a sachet with lavender, rosemary and sandalwood and place it under your pillow. Dab your pillow with a drop or two of rose oil just before bed. Close your eyes, breathe in the fragrance and think about your lover. Wave your hand back and forth across your pillow, feel the energy flow from your heart, into your palm and down into the pillow. Repeat this spell three times.

Somnium Amoris

(sohm-knee-um ah-more-ees)

When you fall asleep, he or she will appear in your dream. Do not have a lover? Do not think of anyone specific, just the idea of having someone. Your subconscious will do the rest, trust me!

Alright friends, I will end this blog here today. I hope some of you got something out of it, and I look forward to talking with you….as always…

sweet serenity,

Derek….

Hello Everyone!

I did a spell that someone gave me about 6 months ago that required me to prick myself 3 times and add blood to an elixir. I KNEW this was going to be the most difficult part. The spell called for a dove’s feather, you’d think that would be difficult….but not as difficult as getting blood out of my body! I’m such a wimp when it comes to this stuff. I took a knife and just started poking myself. I got some blood to come out of the palm of my hand, but not enough to drip. I even pushed real hard against the skin of my forearm. All it did was leave a small red dot behind. Did I develop some kind of super powers where my skin is impenetrable? Maybe I’m anemic and don’t have a whole lot of blood flow? I thought to myself….how in the hell do witches do this?! I didn’t want to risk hurting myself badly so, I figured I would look it up…

blood dropletMy first stop was to see if there were any videos on Youtube, a modern day witches tutorial… I couldn’t find any. I think too many of us are old school. Then I came across a diabetic, and BINGO. I should have realized this before. They need to prick themselves daily to test their blood. They have a handy tool to do this, so we would need a needle or something just as sharp. I learned to not poke the tip of your finger, or the pad like you see on TV. I’m lookin’ at you Charmed! The trick is to prick your finger on the side of the tip, just to the right or left of your nail. Once you break the skin, you need to apply pressure to the base of your finger and push upward. This should give you plenty of blood drops.

Why did I need this you ask? What exactly is blood binding? This type of magick has been used by traditional witches for centuries. Blood is your life’s essence, the ultimate personal effect. Adding your blood to certain spells will bind you directly to the spell itself. There is one small caveat, you will ultimately bind yourself to the spell for as long as the spell is active. If you use this for the wrong types of spells, or mess up on a spell, you will be bound to it. Example? Casting a love spell and using incorrect ingredients, attracting someone you do not want. You will be bound to this person until you break the spell…but that is easier said than done. Breaking a love spell is difficult enough without the use of blood binding. Do your research, trust your instincts and please, do not cast love spells without the proper knowledge or intent.

The use of blood binding is taboo in some covens, mostly due to the dangers I just mentioned. All magick is dangerous, it is purely about intent and power. How much power you need, and if your intent is pure. I would and have only used blood in specific situations, and with the spell I did tonight, my body is still tingling. You can use blood binding to bind your essence to items like protection amulets or charms, this will bind the charm directly to you and can easier grant yourself protection, however, lets say you lose that charm or give it to someone else, you will be bound to whomever has the charm or amulet. Therein lies the danger of blood binding. I know I’ve said this a bunch, but use caution!

So again, I do not recommend using blood binding unless your spell completely requires it.

–ANOTHER WARNING–

In this day and age, there are a lot of blood diseases, the most obvious is HIV. Make sure that if you are using/ingesting blood, that it is your own. Following what I said above should protect you magickally, but following what I’m saying now should protect you medically.

I will not be giving any spells that involve blood magick, as I do not know your experience or intent, I just would not want to risk it. I apologize. I may come up with one to charge a protection amulet. I will have to decide later, but I will be updating my blog with more spells very soon, thank you for reading! Make sure to comment so I can know your thoughts on this blog and blood binding in general.

sweet serenity,

Derek….

Greetings!

No, I am not going to enter into a long inspiring speech here guys, I am just going to tell you about a dream I had and the research that followed. I never know if my dreams are prophetic, procogniscent (that’s totally not a word but I’m making it one, pertaining to dreaming about the past) or just my mind’s fun way of telling me that I might be crazy. Between you and I though, I totally am, just don’t tell my mind that! This dream though, really stuck out to me.

The Crone from Charmed to illustrate what I saw

The only thing I can remember is lying down on a bed and an old woman was at the foot looking at me, rubbing my feet and getting me to tell her things that I didn’t want to tell her. I didn’t feel in danger though, it was almost like my inner voice was saying “You bitch, I can’t believe you’re making me say this.” She wasn’t evil, just beating me at my own game….

WITCHCRAFT!

Damn crones, always with the wise woman bullshit…….anyway.

All I kept thinking is she had to be using Hot Foot Powder, but it wasn’t just Hot Foot, it had to be mixed with something else. Hot Foot Powder for those who don’t know, is a hoodoo powder used to get those who cross it in their tracks to leave permanently. The idea behind the powder didn’t explain how she was controlling what I was saying, or why I was answering her questions so honestly.

The point of the dream was not in the answers as I don’t remember anything that was said. All I kept shouting in my head was “Hot Foot Powder, but not” over and over again. So this got me to thinking, what if I could spin an old Hot Foot recipe into a commanding powder that would only work by placing it directly onto the feet. I’m not sure who would use this as there might be easier ways to get truthful answers….but it made sense. What if you had a partner who you were wondering if they were faithful or not. You could offer them a foot rub and say you got this spicy new oil to use. The Hot Foot portion would bring the tingle aspect (main herbs being cayenne or red pepper) but the secret ingredients would compel them to say whatever you want them to say.

I dove into research mode. I looked into Hoodoo recipes and traditional witchcraft recipes and I believe I found my answer! I am going to disappoint a few of you readers here as I cannot give you my recipe. I just feel that if I am correct, this powder, if recreated by the wrong person, can do some heavy damage and I don’t want it so easily accessible. I will say this though, once I get my store up and running, I may sell it. If anyone wants to purchase it directly, just Email Me.

In my research I did read that the herb Patchouli is quite unique. Most use it for money or love drawing and even jinx breaking. I learned however, that the herb will take the essence of those around it. What does this mean for the Hot Foot Compelling Powder? Patchouli has a natural drawing power, hate the smell or love it, it will ALWAYS bring you to it….but, if the herb is mixed with other herbs of a darker nature, it will develop a dark nature as well.

Patchouli

Patchouli – more than just for hippie detection

My thought process is, the dark drawing essence that will be given to Patchouli will draw out the truth from the person, it will compel them to say what you want to hear regarding matters of the heart. Also noted, it should mask the sulphur scent of the Hot Foot Powder…you’re welcome. I added other items and took away some that would not work with this mixture and have come up with what I feel strongly will work. This powder could be sprinkled in the person’s shoes or socks, you’ll know it’s working if they appear slightly uncomfortable. The nature of the powder is not to harm the person just throw them off their game. The powder can also be mixed with a little oil if you use the foot rubbing method I spoke of before. I need to try this, I just don’t actually have a reason to. I’ll keep you posted as always!

–A QUICK WARNING–

This powder is designed to compel the target to tell you exactly what you want to hear and there is a downside. If you focus too much on what you THINK the answer is, that is what you will hear….and it may not be the truth. A spell like this required extreme focus and should only be used if you are experienced. I cannot stress this enough. So if you purchase this from me, or do research and make something similar just use caution. Focus on the truth coming out of the target, not any specific words. I would practice this technique before using the powder.

If anyone is interested in Hot Foot Powder, I can make that too, but Lucky Mojo also has it and they seem to be a trusted source. I will also include the recipe’s for it. There are a few variances.

Latin Protection Chant

protection pentagramLatin Protection Chant

I wanted to make a quick and easy protection chant if you needed a small boost to your defenses. This spell uses your guiding spirit as a psychic shield and would be used in specific instances. This spell will not last and should not be abused.

Ingredients:

White Candle
Saltpeter
Salt

The Spell:

While the candle is in front of you, light it and say

Spiritus Ducentia Protego Me
(spee-ree-two-s | due-ken-tea-ah | pro-teg-oh | meh)

Once the candle is lit, sprinkle your salt and saltpeter mixture over the flame and say three times

Protego Me
(pro-teg-oh | meh)

Visualize your guardian spirit surrounding you with energy shielding you from harm then blow out the candle. You can use this same candle anytime you need a boost, just repeat the spell. I have created a video to go along with this spell to show you how it’s done.

Let me know what you think and if it helps you. Also if you like the video feel free to tell me in the comments here or on Youtube! Talk to you soon everyone.

**Edit**

It has been said to me that I used the wrong form of Protect. Since I call the guardian spirit to protect, the Latin word “protegito” would be the proper form. It does make a lot of sense, since “protego” would be if you were protecting yourself, which could also work as you can just channel the guardian’s power. Either switch your focus, or switch the word!

Hi There

Been months since you’ve heard from me? My bad. I don’t know what it is, I’m just a little too lazy when it comes to actually blogging. Sorry! You know when you go to youtube, then realize it’s tomorrow? …anyway, lets continue!

Mandrake9 Mandrake

Well Harry Potter had some if it correct. I kind of love when fantasy books base their ideas on real history. In ancient Europe it was said that the man like root would scream once pulled and kill the harvester. This of course is just a story as I firmly believe it would be impossible. Yes I know, a skeptical witch. I believe in ghosts, fairies and that I got my friend pregnant with a potion…but not a deadly scream from a plant.

Peters, Hermann.
Pictorial History of Ancient Pharmacy. 3rd ed.

Ebling Library call number RS 61 P48

In its earlier days, the plant was used as a sedative and a pain killer…but a killer it was. Ingest too much and the plant would be fatal. Mandrake, being in the atropa genus and nightshade family, is highly poisonous. Does atropa and nightshade look familiar? Any herbal loving, potion making witch should know it instantly. Yes, mandrake is related to Atropa Belladonna, or Deadly Nightshade (one of my favorites). Another amazing sedative that will instantly kill you if you use too much. Oh the amazing sleeping potion I could make…*cough* don’t do it, I don’t recommend it at all! (though it totally works)

Through my studies I’ve seen a LOT of spells for love using mandrake, probably due to it’s “human-like” nature. I guess if you squint, they kind of look like human bodies. I’ve of course have never pulled one from the Earth, but hey maybe. The beauty behind this herb is its attractive and repellent nature. How is this possible you ask? Mandrake is a wonderful catalyst, it just depends on what you put with it. You can use it to attract love, attract wealth and good fortune, or you can use it to repel evil or attacks, be them magickal or physical.

Try adding the root to your conjure bags or powders and see if it gives it the extra boost you need. I know I use mine all the time. I have a very special money charm I use that works very well. Mandrake is the key ingredient in this, aided by cinnamon and bay. If you have had luck with mandrake, let me know in the comments what you’ve done with it, I’d love to hear about it!

Alright my magickal friends, I hope to see you soon. I’ll try to find more ideas to blog about and hope you enjoy them!

Welcome to my movie review

Beautiful Creatures Movie Poster

Hello everyone! I really wanted to write a quick movie review of this movie, Beautiful Creatures. When I saw the trailer I was hooked and completely excited for it to come out. Anything that explores magick in a more adult way really intrigues me. I had not read the books due to the fact that i’m not much of a reader. I enjoy movie remakes of books (when done well) so I feel like I get the story without trying to force myself into reading.

I waited anxiously for reviews to come out for the movie, just HOPING they were good. They kept comparing the movie to Twilight, which really scared me because I absolutely hated those movies. (sorry twihards) I was really thinking this movie could stray away from twilight’s 13 year old fangirl following. Then I started reading the reviews….my heart sank…I finally watched it, and here’s what I thought.

Meh…

So I’ll tell you why. The beginning was quite slow, but rushed at the same time, I know that sounds odd but that is what I felt. The main character’s accent really bothered me for some reason. The dreaming of a girl and having her show up was not too original, but I didn’t mind it in the “love story” sense. What really bothered me is how quickly they fell “in love” what was it, 10 minutes? This kid has never heard of this type of magick, and the entire rest of the town were afraid of “those people” but when he was introduced to her gift he was only shocked for 2 minutes, then BAM “omg you’re so great, I love you again”. There was absolutely NO development what so ever! Let alone the fact that the two main characters weren’t that great of actors, not bad though.

The part about the locket really confused me and I don’t believe they explained it well at all, anyway..we get into the meat of the movie and are introduced to more characters. The best and most under utilized character? Ridley. First of all Emmy Rossum nailed that character, but here’s the problem…SHE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING!!! Lets go to the family meal “fight”. They keep saying that lena will be, key phrase, the strongest out of them all once she is claimed. They go the whole movie saying she can’t control her powers. Oh really? She seems to have complete control the ENTIRE time. So she throws a temper tantrum and big things happen…when she tries she controls whatever she wants, but in the scene she spins the room and the table when she’s pissed off at Ridley and the bitch just stands there yelling at her…why aren’t you doing anything? Do you have ANY power? Did the book have this scene the same way where Lena just schooled Ridley? The effects were great, but the scene was boring, especially with the introduction of a bunch of characters the movie clearly cares nothing about. Then poof, you don’t see ridley again utnil the end of the movie…LAME.

As I write this I can’t even remember half of what happened, so you can see how memorable it was. The next character I want to talk about is Sarafine, the most powerful dark caster ever….really? Are you sure about that? I’m pretty sure she didn’t do shit and Lena, again was stronger before she was claimed by binding the house.. The book HAD to have done more with Sarafine than the movie did…also side note, Emma Thompson was amazing as usual.

The movie really picked up near the end and I felt myself enjoying it. There were unexplained boring parts about finding out what the curse was and blah blah blah. I really don’t want to ruin anything just in case some of you want to still watch it but I feel the end was anticlimactic, I know they were basing it off a book that has a series but you can still do something huge and have some sort of closure or keep the viewer interested. This movie didn’t succeed at either.

So to end, Lena was too strong, her character didn’t develop at all. The love story was too rushed and forced. The supportive cast held the movie together as the leads were lackluster. The special effects were done fairly well and the dark tone was appreciated, however the lighting was severely underwhelming and didn’t seem to have much focus at all, some scenes felt cheap and badly directed. The emotion wasn’t there when it was supposed to be which made the sacrifices feel in vain. The last “battle” was too easy.

I give this movie…

Hello Readers!

Today’s blog is about inspiration. I recently started writing a book and needed a quick break, so I came here to blog about what I’m doing. Magick ALWAYS inspires me. Everything I do has magick behind it, being helping people, writing, or just living life. Does magick inspire you at all? If so tell me how! Whenever I write stories I will always have some mystical aspect to it. I want my characters to feel real in unreal situations. Is it possible…scientifically possible to control fire with just a look from your eye? Well a few people out there will say yes, and damn it, i’d like to see that, but no, I don’t believe it is. Also, those out there who claim that can, can you teach me? haha ANYWAY.

I feel the more we put magick or witchcraft out into the world, it will be more accepted. If not accepted than at least tolerated. No one should be treated less than because of a faith they have, especially one that doesn’t conflict with everyday life. We aren’t some lunatic religious group telling people that if you let gay people get married then next people will want to marry a goat. You know, i kind of doubt that would happen, but hey, if that is your argument so be it.

What I do is not let people ruin my specific faith in the energies around us. I wouldn’t feel the way I do, or dream the way I do if what I believe was wrong. There is a power inside me, a power I use often. I’m in touch with the energies that surround me and am slowly learning how to use them properly. I believe the best way to get inspiration is to use the elements. Your strongest would be of course the element in which you were born under. As a child of water, listening to the ocean always inspires me. Don’t live next to an ocean or body of water? I understand! Well kind of, i’ve always lived next to lakes, ponds or now the ocean. I will say this, I know it sounds weird, but I get inspiration also in the shower. I let the water devour my being and let my mind wander. Standing there naked as the stream of water flows down my head covering my body, ideas quickly flock to my brain. Have an artistic block? Take a shower, let the water cleanse and break that block. Even if you aren’t born under the water sign, trust me, it works.

Next is fire. I love a good bonfire, always gets the juices flowing. This is great for a gathering, a meeting of a coven, or just plain fun. Grab your sacred herbs to burn. A good inspiration attracting mixture is anise seed, bay leaves and orange zest (ground orange rind). As they burn, you will feel the energy flow into you. Staring into the fire can also induce a meditative trance and let you see things that normally may not be seen, which will also inspire you. You don’t have to do this at a bonfire of course, you can use a candle. I suggest an orange candle, but a white one will work just fine. You can burn the herbs as incense while staring into the flame of the candle. This is sure to spark whatever creative flow you need.

Earth is an amazing grounding element that you can use to tap into the energies of the earth. Using a grounding ritual is always best. If you can’t do it outside, that is fine, everything is connected. It will just take more focus. The best way is to sit outside and dig your hands directly into the ground, calming yourself and focusing on the energies within flowing through you. Become one with the earth. If you are inside, light a brown candle to help you focus. place your hands on the floor and again, tap into the earth energies from beneath you. It doesn’t matter what floor you may be on, i’m on the second and have done this. Feel your hands reach through the floor into the ground below. Meditate on this energy gaining exercise and you should be inspired in no time. Another fun way is to dig your hands into dirt, I’m sure you have a houseplant somewhere. Just reach in and feel the energy from the plant and the dirt itself. Be one with nature.

Finally we have Air. Go outside, feel the gentle breeze flow into you, let it engulf you in its wonder. Open a window, and sit next to it, breathe in the air deeply and embrace it’s power. What if there isn’t any wind? Get a fan! Best way to get air is to make it. Let the soft hum of a fan lull you into a meditative trance as the air takes over your body. The element of Air is one of the best for drawing inspiration. Those born under the element of Air are usually stuck in their own minds, it’s always flowing freely. Embrace that, let every single thought run through your mind. Piece them together, let your mind take you on the journey. If there is wind, and you have a dying dandelion, blow the seeds from the dandelion and as you watch them float away, ask the winds to bring you inspiration.

I hope this blog inspired you. Don’t forget to comment and leave feedback! Talk to you soon everyone! Terra – Aeris – Ignis – Aqua – Elementa ego vocare!

Potion of Pregnancy

Greetings All

I know I haven’t been posting lately, and I apologize. I have trouble keeping focus when there are other factors going on in my life. Luckily for you I was commissioned to work some magick for a client and I want to share that with you! Exciting right? Though I will say this post is for my…adult readers. I do NOT condone girls getting pregnant, this is for women only…or of course men who want to help their woman.

I believe you need to be ready to have a child, give he or she the love they deserve. Speaking from personal experience, having parents who don’t have the capacity to raise and love like one needs…it can be…painful. I desperately seek love from others, that I should have gotten from my family. When I’m in trouble, I turn to strangers first, before calling my family. So not to be a total bummer, use with caution is my only request. Think everything through.

The Request

I was requested to make something to help my client conceive. She had been trying and wanted a second child. I told her that I would be able to create a potion to help the process along. I did this once many years ago, but never heard of the outcome, so I figured this would be perfect to test out my skills.

The Potion

Now if you are going to do this for someone, make sure they aren’t allergic to any seeds. This is very important as it is a common allergy. I make my potions from all natural ingredients so they can be ingested, but you must always use caution. With that said, this is what I created.

The Ingredients

2pts Shelled sunflower Seeds
1pt Poppy Seeds
Green Food Color

Burn the seeds in your base. I use Everclear which is a pure alcohol made from corn. Let the fire take the essence from the seeds and send your energy into the potion. Charge it with the power of creation. Think of the person you are making it for having a healthy baby.

Actual Potion I Made

Once finished, pour the mixture into a bottle. I added some of the ground up seeds in the bottle as well. There was a secret ingredient I added. It was a powerful aphrodisiac potion. This unfortunately I won’t give the ingredients for, but just do some research and use your own experience. In mine, there were both male and female aspects to it. Since my client wanted a boy, I doubled the male ingredient. Finally, add some green food color to symbolize life itself, giving your potion the final kick it needs. Cork or put the lid on your bottle and you are done.

The Spell

Ok, you have your potion…now what? Easy! This is meant to be ingested. Tell your client to make dinner and add the potion to it. The two trying to conceive should eat together. After the dinner, the aphrodisiac should kick in and the “magick” should happen. There should be a strong desire to, make it happen.

Alright folks, that is the pregnancy potion! There is a disclaimer though. This potion should NOT be used against the will of the second person. Both adults should know about the potion, or at least talk about getting pregnant. Also, magick does not replace modern medicine. If there is a medical reason one cannot get pregnant, then this potion will not be able to change that. I wish you all good luck, and good health. I will keep you posted if my client in fact is going to have a boy!

Hey Witches!

Ok, so you made it past valentine’s day… Thank the Gods. I had a pretty good day, I spent it with someone I care very much for, unfortunately this person can never truly love me (equipment difference issues). BUT IT’S OK!! ..mostly. Anyway… in lieu of valentine’s day…the love-liest day of the year, I’m going to give a couple new love spells. These are different though. Sometimes I like to think if I were a witch of the past, what kind of spells would I create.

Thinking back in the old ways when there weren’t rules or consequences, people used their resources to the fullest, sometimes with no remorse whatsoever. I will say again that these spells aren’t meant to actually be cast, I’m sure someone still will…but please… I don’t condone control spells. I don’t feel you should force love, it won’t feel right. This is for pure educational and entertainment purposes! I took these from my soon (hopefully soon) to be released digital grimoire, or printed grimoire…oh who the hell knows. This will be in the Darker Spells section.

Be mine love potion

So this is my version of a Love Potion for control magick. Obviously this potion is designed to turn a lover to you, no matter how they feel. I don’t believe in this sort of magick…I know I’ve said this too many times, but I want to make sure that…well I think it’s wrong. Is it possible? yes, but it shouldn’t be used. Every powerful spell like this needs a catalyst, something to bind the energies together. This is why I used witch’s fingernails. The fingernail would hold the same mystic energy the witch does, so even if you aren’t a witch, you could get the nails of one to use in the potion and still be able to use it. Everyone has magick within them, it’s all about learning how to use it.

Next we have one of the darkest spells I’ve ever written. I pictured myself as an old witch living in a hut in the woods, and a desperate person came to me, begging me for a love spell to bewitch the person they desire. I caution them against it as it isn’t true love that will come of it…but they don’t care and throw money on the table.

I go to the back of the room to a bird cage and gently remove one of the pure white doves. Holding it in my arms I wave my hand over it’s head and say a prayer. From my belt i slowly slide out my ritual knife and quickly jab it directly into the bird’s heart. I take it over to a vial and drain the blood into it. Grabbing my quill I dip it into the blood, I write down the incantation for my client to speak.

I wonder if spells like these would still be cast to this day. I sure hope not. This to me seems like one of those spells that would take a powerful witch to break, and it would take such greed, pain and an evil heart to use such a spell… I’m actually kind of shaken that I wrote it haha. My friend wanted a scary spell for his prop book on Halloween, so I came up with this.

Let me know what you guys think!! Again, do not use these ok? please? …thank you 🙂
